MANNKATO - State highways in Brown, Cottonwood, Jackson, Martin, Nobles (Minnesota 60 only) and Watonwan counties were closed as of 3 p.m. today due to high winds blowing snow and causing zero visiblity. Earlier in the afternoon, Rock County announced it had pulled all of its plows off the roadways. Interstate 90 remains open at this time, according to the Mankato office of the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Additional highways may be closed due to blizzard conditions make travel hazardous.
