WILLMAR -- Bremer Bank Willmar has announced that it will consolidate its Cash Wise branch into the nearby, full-service bank on March 5, 2011.
"This decision was driven by client preferences,'' explained MaryAnn Doyle, president of Bremer Bank Willmar. "Since opening a new, full-service bank in 2006 we have seen more of our client traffic migrating to that location. Also, more and more clients are choosing to bank with us online, rather than at the branch level."
Bremer clients have multiple banking options, she said. In addition to the full-service branch across the street from Cash Wise, they can also use Bremer's online banking, 24-hour telephone banking and ATMs.
Bremer's lease on the Cash Wise space expires in 2012. To continue meeting the day-to-day transaction needs of clients in Cash Wise, an ATM will remain in the area.
"It is our expectation that all the employees will be retained that choose to remain with Bremer,'' Doyle said.
