Life-Science promotes Wosmek

WILLMAR -- Beth Wosmek has been promoted to the position of accounting manager for Life-Science Innovations & Affiliates, with offices at the MinnWest Technology Campus in Willmar.

She graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Following graduation, she worked at CNH Benson as a financial analyst for six years.

She has worked in the accounting area of Life-Science Innovations for three years. Her new responsibilities will include oversight of all corporate accounting systems and reporting, and additional staff supervision. She and her family live in Willmar.

Pellegrino joins Pioneer Public TV

APPLETON -- Dr. Vince Pellegrino has been appointed director of marketing, development and education programs at Pioneer Public Television in Appleton. He was vice president at Southwest Minnesota State University for five years and a member of the Pioneer Public Television board of directors for two years. Les Heen, Pioneer general manager, said Pellegrino brings experience in education, public television governance and communication to Pioneer Public Television.

"Education has long been the cornerstone of public television programming, and Vince will help us develop ways to build connections with our viewers through education,'' said Heen.

Pellegrino has a doctorate in education and is doing post-doctoral research in early childhood literacy of at-risk children. Pellegrino, his wife Marcy, and three children live in Marshall.

Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing PLLP of Willmar has received the highest possible peer review ranking from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Firms in the peer review program are required to have an independent peer review once every three years of accounting and auditing practice covering a one-year period. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants program helps enhance the quality of accounting, auditing and attestation services performed by institute members in public practice. CDS has 25 certified public accountants, ranking among the top 25 firms in Minnesota.
