American Solutions for Business names new director of IS
GLENWOOD -- Todd Schroeder has been hired by American Solutions for Business as the company's director of information services.
As director of information services, Schroeder will be responsible for providing overall direction and leadership related to the administration, implementation and support of information technology resources for the company.
Schroeder has strong IT leadership experience and an extensive background in implementing Oracle/PeopleSoft solutions. He has spent the last seven-plus years employed by Smead Manufacturing Company, most recently as a systems development manager.
Schroeder, originally from Alexandria, holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota, with a double major in business administration and economics.

Based in Glenwood, American Solutions for Business is a distributor of printing, promotions and enterprise-wide document management solutions.
The company has more than 500 sales associates, 200 employees and 96,000 clients.
The employee-owned company lists its annual sales at $260 million for 2008.

Sam Triplett, director of human resources for American Solutions for Business in Glenwood, was recently awarded the HR Legacy Award at the West Central Minnesota Society for Human Resource Management meeting in Alexandria. The Legacy Award is based on leadership, professionalism, integrity and continued involvement in the chapter.
