DAWSON -- Johnson Memorial Health Services of Dawson was recently named one of the top 100 critical access hospitals in the United States.
The announcement was made during the National Rural Health Association's annual critical access hospital conference, which attracted 650 rural hospital leaders to Kansas City, Mo.
The top 100 critical access hospitals were named to the list on the basis of 56 different performance metrics, including quality, outcomes, patient satisfaction, affordability and efficiency.
