WILLMAR - Co-CEO of Carris Health Dr. Cindy Firkins Smith was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Minnesota Medical Association for her contributions to medicine, the association and the physicians of Minnesota.
Smith is also a practicing dermatologist.
An active member since 1991, Smith served as president of the Minnesota Medical Association in 1993 and most recently was the association's delegate to the American Medical Association. She has served on a variety of committees as well.
