FRANKLIN - The Cedar Mountain Cougar Cub Child Care Center and Franklin Industries Inc. received the 2018 Circle of Excellence Award by the Minnesota Department of Human Services for their collaboration to provide needed child care services.
The award was presented on Oct. 11 at the child care center in Franklin.
Franklin Industries was established to help address the child care need by selling stock to the community and securing public and private financing to purchase land and a building for a child care center. With the partnership of Cedar Mountain Schools, the company opened Cougar Cub Child Care Center in December 2016.
