WILLMAR - Heritage Financial Services, the financial planning and investment brokerage division of Heritage Bank of Willmar, announces it has signed a partnership with Legacy Financial LLC of Akron, Iowa, to continue providing financial services to clients served by Heritage financial adviser Dana Rucker who retires Sept. 11.
“Our decision to partner with Legacy was influenced by changes in this business,” explained Heritage CEO Tom Geiger. “People can shop for investments online and there are plenty of brokers who do a fine job of placing orders for commission. In contrast, we’ve always been proud of the value we bring to clients by our expertise. Serving as trusted advisers is as important as ever.”
Rucker has been a financial adviser with Heritage for 23 years and developed a portfolio of more than 600 clients. Assuming responsibility for Rucker’s clients is Legacy Financial’s Andrew Selberg. Like Rucker, Selberg is a registered representative of Cambridge Investment Research Inc. and an investment adviser representative of RDA Financial Network.
Selberg earned a bachelor’s of business administration in marketing from the University of Iowa and has considerable experience with investments and financial services to clients in the Twin Cities and Iowa.
Selberg is available at Heritage Bank, 310 First St. S.W., Willmar, and can be reached at 320-214-5520 or
