STARBUCK - The $6 million expansion and remodeling project at Holly Ridge Manor, part of Minnewaska Community Health Services, has been completed. It has brought additional assisted living apartments and a renovated kitchen and dining area.
According to a news release, the project added 22 assisted living apartments, of varying sizes, to the manor. The entire building also received a face lift, inside and out, said Minnewaska Lutheran Home Administrator Christopher Knoll in the release.
Financing for the project was possible through partnerships and investments with Compeer Financial, CoBank, Eagle Bank and from U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development.
"The newly renovated assisted living facility in Starbuck will greatly improve the quality of life for residents and will allow more members of the local community to age in pIace, allowing them to remain closer to family and friends," said Todd Kampa, senior financing officer at Compeer Financial.
General contractor for the project was Miller Architects & Builders of St. Cloud. Trossen Wright Plutowski Architects of Minneapolis provided the architectural services.
