WILLMAR — Jeff Nelson has accepted the position of distribution manager for the Willmar, Faribault, Barron, and Western Distribution Center Shipping teams for the Jennie-O Turkey Store, according to a news release from the company.
Nelson brings nearly 20 years of experience in the food shipping industry. His expertise focuses on distribution management which includes production planning, cold storage management, vendor-managed inventory and distribution metrics.
In his new role, Nelson will be responsible for ensuring distribution networks and facilities are cost-effective, safe and meet corporate goals and objectives.
