WILLMAR - Four interns will be working at Jennie-O Turkey Store this summer.
Minh Ong will be working with the engineering team, assisting with labeling requirements of the ammonia refrigeration system and updating the bill of materials for the plant's critical spare parts. He is attending South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D., where he is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. Ong is expected to graduate in May 2020.
Lauren Kopel will be part of the industrial engineering team, assisting with labor standards, productivity projects and cost reduction initiatives. Kopel attends North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D., pursuing an engineering degree. She is expected to graduate in December 2019.
Lauren Matthys will be assisting with several projects as part of the marketing team. She attends Winona State University and is working toward a marketing degree, with an expected December 2019 graduation.
Jose Coronado will work with the live production accounting team, helping with weekly reporting, scanning and budgeting. He is working toward an accounting degree at North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D., and expects to graduate in May 2020.
