CLARA CITY - Kay's Naturals of Clara City, which creates healthy snack foods for those with diabetes, trying to lose weight, or those just looking for healthier options, has been named the 2016 Ag Innovator of the Year by the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute.

This is the Institute's highest honor and has been awarded annually for more than 10 years. The Institute chooses a client company that it feels has made the most impact in product innovation, uniqueness and commercialization potential.

The award will be given to Kay's Naturals CEO Massoud Kazemzadeh at Prairie's Edge Casino in Granite Falls on Nov. 16.
