WILLMAR — The Mid-Minnesota Development Commission has added Justice Walker as a community planner. He will work with Kyle Ten Napel to assist cities, counties and other entities with land use ordinances, codification projects, grant applications, housing studies and transportation, among other planning-related activities.
Walker holds a master's degree in city and regional planning from Clemson University and a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and sustainability from Northern Arizona University.
His experiences include a planning internship with the city of Clemson, South Carolina, where he aided with the comprehensive plan of the city, developed park and bicycle connectivity plans, and kept up a geographic information system housing database. He also worked on a downtown master plan for the city of Greenville, South Carolina.
The Mid-Minnesota Development Commission, headquartered in Willmar, is a regional development organization serving the counties of Kandiyohi, McLeod, Meeker and Renville.
