WILLMAR -- Rice Home Medical announces Aaron Olson has joined their team as sales director. The sales director position was created as part of a restructure with a commitment of growth through sales.

"The restructure was part of our strategic plan to expand the service area with an emphasis on sales in order to meet the needs of customers in our region," said Bill Fenske, Rice's chief financial officer. "We are excited to bring someone onboard with Aaron's expertise and sales focus."

Olson brings more than 14 years of sales knowledge and management skills to Rice Home Medical. As sales director, he will provide direction and leadership to the sales and marketing team. Responsibilities include improving, implementing and maintaining enhanced sales and marketing methods for the organization.

The restructure led to new divisions and reassignments within the organization. Carol Laumer is the business development director. She oversees product and service development, new markets, new store development, and monitors legislative regulatory issues.

Operations director Lisa Ziehl is responsible for daily operations in all five retail stores, which are located in Willmar, Madison, Glenwood, Alexandria and Redwood Falls.
