Pioneer TV welcomes two new hires

APPLETON -- Darin Sorby and Kayla Hawkinson have joined Pioneer Public Television as community relations representatives. They are replacing Daren Lehne and Nicole Zempel. The duo will do community outreach in the viewing area of Pioneer.

APPLETON - Darin Sorby and Kayla Hawkinson have joined Pioneer Public Television as community relations representatives. They are replacing Daren Lehne and Nicole Zempel. The duo will do community outreach in the viewing area of Pioneer.

Sorby, a native of Dawson, worked previously as the news director of KDMA radio. He has experience in sales and real estate.

Hawkinson is a native of Chokio and most recently worked for the American Cancer Society in a senior management position for Relay for Life. She also serves on the Chokio City Council.
