WILLMAR -- Bethesda of Willmar announces its new therapy company, Pro Rehab, which offers physical, occupational and speech therapies.
In addition to providing therapy services to long-term care residents and short-term rehabilitation patients of Pleasant View and Heritage Center Nursing Homes, Pro Rehab has expanded outpatient rehabilitation services and home health therapy. These services are available to the greater Willmar area as well as Bethesda retirement communities.
The addition of the new warm water therapy pool provides a tool in the treatment of chronic back pain, pain in the knees, hips and hands due to arthritis, balance impairments and difficulty in walking.
Dennis Eickhoff is program director and physical therapist. Eickhoff is board certified as an orthopedic specialist, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and is one of 61 therapists nationwide to become a postural restoration certified therapist.
He has a master's degree in exercise science from the University of North Dakota and a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of South Dakota. Additional staff members include an occupational therapist registered, a speech therapist, physical therapy assistants, and certified occupational therapy assistants.
