WILLMAR — Oscar Rivera has been hired as a carrier maintenance clerk in the traffic department at Jennie-O Turkey Store’s corporate office in Willmar.
In this new role, Rivera will be working directly with the transportation manager to bring new carriers on board and will also manage freight payments in several database systems.
He also will provide extended and after-hours coverage for the traffic department.
Rivera previously worked at the Willmar Avenue plant as a quality assurance technician in the sanitation department.
Both his parents, Jennie-O veterans of 20 years, also work in the plant.
