WILLMAR - The Willmar Police Department has welcomed new patrol officer Joseph Schaefbauer to the force.
He previously worked for the department as a community service officer for two years. At the same time he was enrolled full-time at Ridgewater College in Willmar earning his criminal justice degree.
Schaefbauer is a native of Willmar and will join his older brother K-9 Officer Sam Schaefbauer in the department.
