WILLMAR -- West Central Industries JobLink announces several staffing changes.
Michelle Prahl, Sheila Ward and Amanda Hanson have been promoted. WCI also annouced the hiring of Tyler Berg and rehiring of Ashley Riemersma.
As WCI's developmental disabilities programs manager, Prahl will direct the developmental disabilities employment advisors, supervise the 13 day-treatment and habilitation staff, and co-manage lead job coach. Prahl will use her 19 years of vocational rehab experience to manage all Department of Human Services state licensing requirements.
She will continue to help people with disabilities to gain skills, find community employment and keep their jobs. She will also continue to serve as a liaison with area business partners, and actively serve on the Kandiyohi Area Transit and Kandiyohi County Arc boards. She and her husband, Dean, and two children live in Spicer.
As extended employment and rehabilitation services for the blind programs manager, Ward will use her 12 years of WCI experience to supervise developmental disabilities /mental health and brain injury employment advisors in Willmar and Hutchinson, manage Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities certification requirements, and co-manage WCI's lead job coach.

A graduate of the Willmar Leadership Perspectives Course, Ward serves on the Adult Mental Health Consortium, the Kandiyohi County Adult Protection Board and the McLeod County Local Advisory Committee. She lives in Spicer with her husband, Chris, and two sons.
Hanson was promoted to lead job coach and will supervise, train and schedule three community job coaches. She is responsible for work skills training, social skills training and work development services for clients at more than 28 regional work sites. She also schedules cleaning crews at commercial business sites, and works with clients and employers to provide quality, professional services.
Before joining WCI, Hanson was a program coordinator at Divine House, supervising human service technicians, training new staff, and coordinating group home needs. Hanson lives in Willmar and is attending the Lakes Area Chamber's Leadership Perspectives Classes.
Berg, formerly a Divine House program coordinator, will serve as an employment adviser and assist individuals gaining job skills, learning to find work and interview, and working to maintain their employment. He will serve on the Lac qui Parle County Local Advisory Committee for Mental Health. He is a graduate of Ridgewater College.
Riemersma previously worked at Woodland Centers and was WCI's lead job coach. She has more than five years of WCI experience and was rehired as an employment adviser and will assist individuals gaining job skills, learning to find work and interview, and working to maintain their employment. She will serve on various boards and co-op committees. She is a graduate of St. Cloud Technical College and lives in Willmar with her husband, Justin, and two sons.
