WILLMAR -- Patrick Thibault, a registered nurse from Willmar who works in the mental health field, recently received the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Social Justice Award.
This is the 10th year the award has been presented by the Minnesota Nurses Association.
The Wellstone Social Justice Award recognizes nurses who speak up on behalf of those who lack a voice in the political process, who advocate for access to health care by using political and community processes, and who set an example of social justice in their nursing practice.
