MELROSE - The University of Minnesota Extension is holding a labor management workshop at the Melrose City Center in February and March. The workshop, "Leadership for Successful Employment Management," will be taught in four sessions by Betty Berning, Extension educator, and Bob Milligan, professor emeritus.
Minnesota Dairy Initiatives is a collaborator of the workshop.
The workshop will cover various employee management topics including leadership, supervising, recruitment and culture. Attendees will learn through hands-on activities, class discussions and tool development.
Classes will be held 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 2, Feb. 17, March 2 and March 16. Registration is required by Jan. 27 at $200 per farm. To register or for more information, call or email Berning at 320-203-6104 or bberning@umn.edu .
