NEW LONDON - At New London-Spicer High School on Friday, the Cat Scratch Fever Health and Wellness event kept things moving on the 45-degree late afternoon. Children could visit the Life Link whirlybird, an ambulance and fire truck. There was an air-gym and a National Guard challenge. And running races around the track for preschoolers through fourth grade. The Cat Scratch 5k for the first time became one of the fitness runs in the Glacial Lakes Championship Series.
