WILLMAR — Stuck in a recipe rut? The Let’s Dish! community potluck is at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month at the Willmar Public Library. Everyone brings a dish to share based on the theme and a copy of the recipe. The theme for Nov. 12 is eggs. Free, no registration required, new members always welcome.

Farm Girl Fresh Cooking Class: Nov. 4, 6 to 7:30 p.m., Willmar Senior High School, registration deadline Oct. 25, $43, instructors Colleen Anderson and Joyce Kaping. Class will discuss how to grow healthy plants using the best growing practices and preserving methods, including the process of freezing, canning and dehydrating. The class includes hands-on participation preparing a tasty recipe.
Cookie Art: Nov. 19, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Willmar Senior High School; $20, instructor Stacy Holwerda. Learn techniques to create your own edible cookie art. Bring a flat container, preferably 6 by 9 inches or larger, to take six cookies home. November theme is Thanksgiving, registration deadline Nov. 4. Additional class will be held in December (holidays).
Let’s Make Lefse: Nov. 21, 6 to 8 p.m., Willmar Middle School, $25, instructor Samantha Johnson. Hands-on class will walk participants through the entire process from scratch: the preparation, rolling and grilling of lefse, and of course, sampling.
