WILLMAR — A carnival and silent auction for the Daren and Whitney Murphy family will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 27 at Rice Park in Willmar. The Murphys completed state-approved paperwork to adopt infants in the U.S. and were saving to pay for an adoption in the future. An expectant mother in Pennsylvania saw their story and chose them.
