RAYMOND — A potato bar benefit for Marilyn Lohse will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Raymond. Freewill donation for potato bar, and there will be a silent auction.

SARTELL — A spaghetti dinner will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at The Waters Church in Sartell for the Matt and Jinae Plumhoff family. There will be a silent auction and kids carnival. Matt is battling kidney cancer and has had two bouts of COVID-19. His wife, Jinae, is the daughter of Bob and Deb Roelofs, of Spicer.
Clara City Lions
CLARA CITY — The Clara City Lions will serve a pancake supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at MACCRAY High School. Freewill donation. Christmas trees will be for sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, in the Almich’s Market parking lot.

Appleton Food Shelf
APPLETON — The Appleton Food Shelf is a satellite site of the Prairie Five food banks. It is open 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays at Zion Lutheran Church.

Appleton Area Health: Through November, collecting boxes of breakfast cereal for the food shelf. Donations may be left in the front entry of the Appleton Area Health clinic during business hours.

Willmar toy drive: Through Dec. 23, new unwrapped toys can be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays in the big box under the canopy at the Willmar Community Center for youth in Kandiyohi County.
Community toy swap: Dec. 17, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Willmar. Come swap or pick out some free used toys just in time for the holidays. Used toys in good condition may be donated in the box outside the church. For more information, call Sarah at 208-866-1944 .
Habitat for Humanity
WILLMAR — Habitat for Humanity of West Central Minnesota ReStore accepts donations of appliances, furniture, cabinetry, building materials and more. All donations must be approved by staff before acceptance. Donations can be brought to 4722 Highway 71 N.E., north of Willmar, between 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday. WILLMAR — The Kandiyohi County Food Shelf helps people living in Kandiyohi County that are in need of food assistance. The food shelf is are located at 624 Pacific Ave. S.W. in Willmar.
Curbside pickup: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by the stop sign at the front door and call 320-235-2641 .
In-person pickup: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Park across the street or in the parking lot and bring your own bags/boxes.
