Lance Hauser, the son of Mary and Dick Reitsma of Willmar and the late Jeffrey Hauser, was promoted to Major in the Minnesota Army National Guard in October. The 2003 graduate of Willmar High School joined the National Guard in 2002 and over the years has deployed to Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Somalia. Hauser works full time as a facilities management specialist at Camp Ripley. He currently drills at 34th Red Bull Infantry Division Headquarters in Arden Hills.
