Lac qui Parle Mission Sunday celebration this weekend

The annual Mission Sunday celebration is set for July 11.

The 63rd annual Mission Sunday will be July 11.

The 10:30 a.m. worship will be led by Dr. Reverend Clifford Canku with special music by the Dakota Presbyterian Choir, including the hymn “Lac qui Parle” written at the mission.

The potluck lunch will be at noon. Bring a dish to pass with a serving utensil and your own plates, silverware and napkins. Lemonade will be provided.

The afternoon program at 1 p.m. will be “A Potpourri of Dakota Mission Topics.” Jeff Williamson will discuss a variety of Mission-related topics with his fellow panelist(s) and answer questions. Free, open to the public.
