Project SP 034-608-026, CSAH 8 from CSAH 4 to CSAH 20 (Bit. Milling, Full Depth Reclamation, Bit. Surfacing, Culvert Replacements, Bridges 34J48 & 34J51).
Combined estimated quantities of work are: Full Depth Reclamation 125611 SQ YD, Mill Bituminous Surface (6.0") 125611 SQ YD, Bituminous Mixture 39848 TON, 10x8 Precast Box Culvert 188 LIN FT, 14x5 Precast Box Culvert
73 LIN FT, 10x8 Precast Box Culvert End Section 4 EACH, 14x5 Precast Box Culvert End Section 2 EACH, Aggregate Backfill (CV)(P) 470 CU YD, 24" RC Pipe Culvert 520 LIN FT, 24" RC Pipe Apron 16 EACH, Random Riprap Class 3 (Quarry-run) 265 TON, Silt Fence Type MS 2412 LIN FT, Boulevard Topsoil Borrow 1912 CU YD,
Seeding 4.3 ACRE, Hydraulic Matrix Type Bonded Fiber Matrix 10850 LB, Permanent and Temporary Erosion Control Items, and other miscellaneous road and bridge construction items.
Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962,
P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation hereby notifies all bidders:

Minimum wage rates to be paid by the contractor have been predetermined. Read carefully the wage scales contained in the Special Provisions, as they affect this project.
Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must comply with the Special Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, contained in the proposal.
Electronic bids and fax bids will not be accepted.
A bid bond, cashiers check or certified check made payable to the Treasurer of Kandiyohi County in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany all bids.
The County Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or technicalities therein and to award the contract in the best interest of the County.
