WILLMAR - Valentine's Day is one of the busiest times of year for Lora Miller, a florist at Stacy's Nursery in Willmar.

This year, Miller, who has been working at the nursery for around 15 years, said she plans to put a modern twist on traditional floral arrangements for the day of love.

Miller said she tells buyers to try new things, especially for Valentine's Day. "A lot of clients will play it safe and stick to what they know," she said. "It can be fun to experiment with colors and types of flower."

Stacy's Nursery will also be selling cupcakes made by Cake 'n Sweets by Sarah to pair with Valentine's Day floral arrangements.

Miller encourages customers to call in advance to order their floral arrangement for the holiday to ensure they can meet all of their needs.
