Willmar Civic Center
Skating and curling will be either in the Civic Center or the Blue Line Arena; $3 for all ages; $2 skate rental, unless otherwise stated.

Outdoor ice rinks
The Garfield, Lincoln and Hilltop park ice rinks are open for the season. Garfield has two hockey rinks with boards, open skating ice and a warming house with children’s skates available for use for free. The warming house is open from 1 to 6 p.m. weekends and school holidays and from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The warming house is closed when the wind chill is 10 below or colder.

Indoor rifle and pistol range
The range in the basement of the Willmar City Auditorium is open from 6 to 9:30 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday for open shooting. A certified range master will be on duty. Fee is $8 per half hour, targets available for purchase.
Sibley State Park
The Interpretive Center hours vary. A vehicle permit is required to enter the park and they are available at the park office. For more information call 320-354-2002. Sibley State Park is west of New London just off U.S. Highway 71. Prairie Woods ELC
The Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center welcomes skiers, snowshoers and mountain bikers during daylight hours at no cost. The trailhead will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. No dogs on ski trails, pets should be on a leash.
