Willmar
The Willmar Public Library will have a holiday movie for children at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Outdoor ice rinks
The Garfield, Lincoln and Hilltop park ice rinks are open for the season. Garfield has two hockey rinks with boards, open skating ice and a warming house with children’s skates available for use for free. The warming house will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. through Jan. 5. It will closed when the wind chill is 10 below or colder and will be closed New Year’s Day.
Willmar Civic Center
Skating and curling will be either in the Civic Center or the Blue Line Arena; $3 for all ages; $2 skate rental, unless otherwise stated.
Open skating: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
Open curling: 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday; stones and brooms provided, ages 8 through adults, certified instructors on hand to help new curlers.

Sibley State Park
The Interpretive Center hours vary. A vehicle permit is required to enter the park and they are available at the park office. For more information call 320-354-2002. Sibley State Park is west of New London just off U.S. Highway 71.
Cross country skiing: Trails are in poor condition.
Snowmobiling: Trails are in poor condition.
Sledding hill: in poor condition.
Prairie Woods ELC
