Dale Herman Weilage, age 58, of Renville, died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. today, April 24, 2014, at First Lutheran Church in Renville. The Rev. Tom Evenson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at the church. Arrangements with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service, Renville, MN.

Dale Herman Weilage was born on March 6, 1956, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Herman and MaryAnn (Stassen) Weilage. He grew up near Beaver Creek in Morton, Minnesota and graduated from Morton High School in 1974. Dale was united in marriage to Julie Stoltenburg on January 13, 1990, at the United Methodist Church in Springfield, Minnesota. They moved to Renville in 2002, and Dale worked as a truck driver for Tersteeg Transport for the last nine years. Dale enjoyed gardening, fishing and going camping. He loved visiting with family and friends and playing cards, particularly Cribbage. He also enjoyed collecting toy tractors, Allis Chalmers was his favorite, and going to auctions, garage sales and threshing shows.

Survivors include his wife Julie, his children: Stacey (and Anthony) Ragains of Grand Junction, CO, Tammy (and Lee) Simard of Lewiston, ME, Jeremy Weilage of Lewiston, ME, Tanya (and Allen) Brown of Renville, Nicole (and Adam) Gengler of Conover, WI, and Dale Jon "DJ" Weilage (and fiance Ashley Standfuss) of Willmar; his grandchildren: Brianna, Savannah, and Amanda Ragains, Alyah, Noah, and Payton Simard, Tyler and Jacob Schultz, Shaniah Brown, and Cole and Alex Gengler; his two pets Savi and Socks, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
