DeGroot — Gerdes

Jessica DeGroot and Nathaniel Gerdes were united in marriage June 13 in Prinsburg.
Jessica is the daughter of Bryan and Sue DeGroot of Prinsburg. Nathaniel is the son of Merle and Heidi Gerdes of Willmar.
Maid of honor was Jill Anderson, sister of the bride. Jessica’s attendants were Courtney Ulferts and Heather Daugherty, friends of the bride, and Kara DeGroot and Amanda DeGroot, sisters-in-law of the bride. Junior attendants were Sienna Duininck and Hattie Duininck, cousins of the groom. Flower girls were Julia Anderson and Kate Anderson, nieces of the bride.
Best man was Grant Hoekstra, friend of the groom. Nathaniel’s attendants were Dillon Erickson, Sam Ohden and Carter Brock, friends of the groom, and Joe DeGroot, brother of the bride. Junior attendants were Moses DeGroot, nephew of the bride, and Drew Duininck, cousin of the groom. Ring bearer was Griffin DeGroot, nephew of the bride.
Ushers were Jacob Van Dyken and Nathan Ryder.
A reception and dance were held at the home of the bride’s family in Prinsburg.
Following a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Sioux Center, Iowa, where both the bride and groom are students at Dordt College.
