Higdem — Zumwalt

Kirsten Higdem and Brandon Zumwalt were united in marriage Nov. 23 on the shore of Lake Superior in Lutsen.
Kirsten is the daughter of Paul and Janelle Higdem of Willmar. Brandon is the son of Steven and Deborah Zumwalt of St. Louis, Mo.
Maid of honor was Kari Higdem, sister of the bride. Kirsten’s bridesmaids were Allison Zumwalt, sister of the groom, and Katie Joslyn, Sarah Van den Akker, Lauren Ringe and Laura Bjork, friends of the bride.
Best man was Gavin Ancheta, friend of the groom. Brandon’s groomsmen were Joe Heitkamp, Lance Meyer, Jordan Vitse, Brooks DeZellar and DJ Dassenko, friends of the groom. Ring bearer was Connor Lund, godson of the bride.
Usher was Paul Kimpling, friend of the bride.
A reception and dance were held at Lutsen Resort.
The couple resides in Savage. Kirsten is employed by Park Nicollet as a hospice nurse in Hopkins. Brandon is employed as an attorney by Walling, Berg & Debele in Minneapolis.
