WILLMAR — Led by all-around winner Kelsey Fletcher, Alexandria was able to squeak by Willmar for a Central Lakes Conference win Thursday at Willmar High School, 135.175-132.600.
Fletcher finished the night with an all-around score of 35.2, beating Willmar’s Tayva Carruthers (34.5) and Lyndi Koosman (34.3). Fletcher also took the top spot in the vault (9.225) and the floor exercise (9.325).

Carruthers had the top score on the balance beam (9.0) and was third on the uneven bars (8.15). Koosman won the bars (8.75) and tied for second on the vault with Alexandria’s Sara Eddy (9.075).

Kim Joneson added another top-three finish for Willmar, taking third on the beam (8.325).
Willmar is off until Thursday, Feb. 4 when Sartell comes to town.
