NOTICE OF ADOPTION TO AMEND THE COUNTY ZONING MAPS
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing was held by the Kandiyohi County Planning Commission on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. in the Commissioners Room at the Kandiyohi County Health & Human Services Building located at 2200 – 23rd St NE, Willmar, Minnesota. The purpose of the hearing was to amend the zoning classification of the following described parcel(s) of land:
That Part of the NE ¼ of SE ¼, Section 21, Township 121, Range 34, New London Township. (15840 69th St NE) Complete legal in Zoning Office.
Proposes an amendment to the County Zoning Map. Applicant requests to rezone said property from R-2 Community Residence District to A-2 General Agricultural District. Douglas Dietz, landowner
A copy of the above-described amendment was made available for inspection at the office of the County Zoning Administrator, 400 SW Benson Ave, Willmar, Minnesota, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M.
Based on the findings, the Planning Commission recommended the County Board of Commissioners approve the rezoning from R-2 to A-2.
The County Board of Commissioners, at a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, approved the request to re-zone the above-described property, based on the findings of the Planning Commission.
Publication notice of approval is hereby given on this proposed amendment. The amendment shall become effective at the time of publication of this notice.
