The Board of Commissioners of Kandiyohi County met at 9:00 A.M., August 2, 2022, pursuant to adjournment. All Members were present. A motion by Nissen, 2nd Gardner to adopt the consent agenda as presented as follows. A. Approval of the Minutes from the July 19, 2022 Board Meeting. B. Auditor’s Warrants and Claims - $156,753.24 from Revenue Fund, $558.44 from Regional Treatment Center Fund, $258,563.70 from Road and Bridge Fund, $66,299.00 from County Building Fund, $70,760.50 from Ditch Fund, $1,278.47 from Library Fund, $2,204.10 from Health & Human Services Building Fund, $10,538.61 from Water & Sewer Fund, $28,261.53 from Sanitary Landfill Fund, $50.85 from the Forfeited Tax Sale Fund according to the detailed listing of claims as recorded in the Office of the County Auditor/Treasurer. A motion by Imdieke 2nd Nissen to accept the 4 Lift Station, 3 Force mains, SCADA project and authorize final payment to Crow River Construction in the amount of $115,226.61 was on vote unanimously adopted. A motion by Nissen 2nd Anderson to authorize a Letter of Support from the Board to be included in Charter Communications. lnc.’s application to the Border-to-Border application was on vote unanimously adopted. A motion by Imdieke 2nd Gardner to authorize a Letter of Support from the Board for Federated Telephone’s Cooperative’s application as the Primary project application for the Kandiyohi Border-to-Border Broadband Development Grant Program was on vote unanimously adopted. A motion by Anderson 2nd Berg to authorize a Letter of Support from the Board to be included in Frontier Communications of Minnesota’s application to the Border-to-Border Broadband Development Grant Program was on vote unanimously adopted. A motion by Gardner 2nd Anderson to approve Resolution 2022-42: Veterans Services Office Operational Grant Program was on vote unanimously adopted. A motion by Imdieke 2nd Nissen to approve Resolution 2022-43: State of Minnesota Limited Use Permit authorizing the Administrator and Chairman to sign the State of Minnesota Limited Use Permit was on vote unanimously adopted. Larry Kleindl, County Administrator, gave administrative updates and the Commissioners gave their committee reports for information purposes only. On motion the meeting was adjourned until 9:00 AM, August 16, 2022.
