Notice of Ordinance Adoption: Critical Water Deficiency Ordinance
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 103G.291, notice is hereby given that the Glacial Lakes Sanitary Sewer and Water Districts Critical Water Deficiency Ordinance was adopted by the Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 in the board room at the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services Building Located at 2200 23rd St. NE Willmar MN.
The purpose and intent of the Ordinance are to:
Regulate non-essential water usage implement under a declaration of a critical water emergency by the governor such as;
Outdoor irrigation of yards and gardens.
Washing or spraying of sidewalks, driveways, parking areas.
The filling of swimming pools, fountains, spas, or other exterior water features.
The washing of automobiles, trucks, trailers, and other types of mobile equipment.
