Pursuant to action by the Willmar City Council at a meeting held on April 5, 2021, a public hearing will be held on April 19, 2021, at 7:01 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible.
The Mayor of the City has determined, due to the emergency declared under Minn. Stat. Chapter 12 by the Governor of Minnesota and the COVID-19 pandemic, that it may not be practical or prudent for the Council to meet in-person or pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.02. Members of the public who wish to participate during the public hearing can call 320-335-7135 (and the area code must be dialed). A GoToMeeting link and additional information or any changes regarding public participation in this meeting will be posted on our website at www.willmarmn.gov. Public comment can be submitted to the City Clerk via email at info@willmar mn.gov. Any comments and materials submitted by 4:00 p.m. on the meeting day will be provided to the Council for their review.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING NO. 1060
KNOWN AS THE WILLMAR ZONING ORDINANCE
BY AMENDING SECTIONS 2.B AND 6.I RELATING TO
MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING IN THE GENERAL BUSINESS
DISTRICT
The City Council of City of Willmar does ordain as follows:
SECTION 2. Ordinance 1060 is hereby amended by amending SECTION 2.B.43 thereof as follows (new material is underlined; deleted material is lined out; sections which are not proposed to be amended are omitted):
43. Dwelling, multiple (multi-family). A building designed with three or more dwelling units exclusively for occupancy by three or more families living independently of each other. Hallways, entrances, and exists may or may not be shared.
SECTION 6. Ordinance 1060 is hereby amended by adding a new subsection f to Section 6.I.3 thereof as follows (new material is underlined):
f. Multi-family dwelling structures.
