Christmas classic opens tonight at The Barn Theatre in Willmar, Minnesota

WILLMAR -- The Barn Theatre in Willmar presents "A Christmas Carol" at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday and Dec. 11-13 with Sunday matinees at 1 p.m. Sunday and on Dec. 14.

WILLMAR - The Barn Theatre in Willmar presents “A Christmas Carol” at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday and Dec. 11-13 with Sunday matinees at 1 p.m. Sunday and on Dec. 14.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for ages 18 and younger.
“A Christmas Carol” is the story of Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey from an embittered, ungenerous creature into a giving, caring human being at the hands of three spirits, who, one Christmas Eve, show him what life means.
This richly textured play set in London, England, brings the full spirit of the book, as well as those of Christmases Past, Present and Yet To Come, to life on the stage.
Ebenezer Scrooge is played by Ben Watson, with Michael Cola as Young Man Scrooge and Jacob Meyer as Young Boy Scrooge.
Marley is played by Dean Madsen.
Abby Tornquist is the Ghost of Christmas Past, Ashleigh Gulden is the Ghost of Christmas Present and Eliza Gunnink is the Ghost of Christmas Future.
Travis Huddy is Bob Cratchit, Cherry Olsen is Mrs. Cratchit and Erik Olsen is Tiny Tim Cratchit. The other Cratchit children are played by Sarah Olsen, Jacob Meyer, Anneka Olsen and Greta Olsen.
The Shadow Sprites are played by Kamryn Quenemoen, Cecilia Buzzeo, Sonja Madsen and Abigail Thompson.
Other cast members are Alex Burdorf, Jessica Bays, Brianna Norby, Denise Deaner, James Statz, Emily Gilmore, Lisa Savoie, Cassidy Hansen, Caitlin Wheeler and Naomi Gunnink.
The play is directed by Keith Green. Nick Anderson is the tech director and the choreography/movement adviser is Pauline Prawl.
Stage manager is Angie Benson. Set construction was by Keith Green, Lori Green and Mason Anderson.
Costumes and makeup by Shannon Eckhoff, Trevor Eckhoff, Anna Eckhoff, Cecilia Eckhoff, Noah Eckhoff and Josh Eckhoff, with wigs by Cathy Pregler.
The costume assistants/seamstress were Carol Parker, Cathy Pregler and Cheri Buzzeo.
Karen Madsen, Angie Benson and Jan Buzzeo were in charge of props.
