Jammin’ Uke Group: Nine sessions, 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. on Nov. 1, 8 &15; community jam will feature familiar songs, open to all levels of uke players and those that want to sing-a-long; intro workshop on the basics at 5 p.m. to get newbies started.
Drum Circle: Nine sessions, 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. on Nov. 1, 8 &15; all ages welcome to participate in hand drum circle, no no experience needed, drums provided.
Mexican folkloric dance: Four sessions, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 27; all ages welcome, Art Express presents a traditional Mexican folkloric dance class.
Willmar Community Education

Stained glass for beginners: Nov. 26, 7-9 p.m. and Dec. 7 and 14, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Willmar Senior High School, ages 15 and up; instructor Tom Nelson; $65 fee plus $25 to $70 for supplies; make a copper foil method piece. Lead assembly techniques will be demonstrated.
Milan Village Arts
Milan Village Arts has scheduled a number of classes. The complete schedule is on the website. Members receive a discount on tuition. Supply fees are paid to the instructor at the end of class. Picture framing: Nov. 8-9, 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; instructor Brian Wolf; learn how to use the resources in the school framing room to make wood frames, cut mats, cut glass, hinge artwork and assemble the pieces to give your artwork polish; tuition $105; members who have taken this workshop have access to the Framing Room to work on their own projects.
Weaving rugs: Nov. 8-10, Friday evening through Sunday; instructor Diana Soehren; members who have taken this workshop have access to the Loom Room to work on their own projects; tuition $90, supplies $10 or more; registration deadline Oct. 26.
Biscotti sampler: Dec. 7, 1-5 p.m., instructor Maureen Hark; beginner and above; we will make biscotti, an Italian crunchy twice baked cookie, often containing nuts, chocolate, spices and dried fruit that stores well; make several different recipes and some to take home; tuition $65, supplies included; registration deadline Nov. 23.
Precious metal clay: Jan. 4, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; instructor Kim Bakken-Parr; adults and teens, beginners and above; learn the basics of working with precious metal clay and how easy it is to design and create beautiful silver earrings, pendants, charms and even how to set stones; tuition $105, supplies $55; registration deadline Dec. 21.
PMC Nature’s Beauty: Jan. 5, 9 a.m.to 4 p.m.; instructor Kim Bakken-Parr; adults and teens, beginners and above; coat leaves, twigs, seed pods, etc. with silver paste, which will be dried and kiln-fired, to a piece that is 99.9 percent silver; tuition $105, supplies $55; registration deadline Dec. 21.
Open carving night: Carvers of all persuasions are invited to meet from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the school to carve and network. Free.
Silver Studio: open to all those that have taken beginning silversmithing and are MVAS members. Fee is $10 for evening and $20 for all day.

Weaving Studio: open to those with experience with looms or have taken the weaving rugs class and are MVAS members; by appointment or join a weaving group, no fee, looms are maintained with warp at no cost.
Framing Studio: a fully-functional framing workshop open to those taken the framing workshop and are MVAS members; $5 hour, $10 for half day, $20 full day, by appointment only.
