Small works

Willmar, through Dec.12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and when the building is open for performances, Barn Theatre event room. The annual small works silent auction with pieces by local artists available for sale. Auction closes at 4:45 p.m. Dec. 12 following the matinee show.

Students from Willmar, Clara City and Montevideo were selected to perform pieces at the 85th annual Minnesota Music Teachers Association Honors Concert.
While it won't be 100% back to what it was in 2019, the Milan Village Art School is holding its Spoon Gathering for the first time since the pandemic began. The three-day event will be open to registered participants only, who will still get the opportunity to learn about traditional green woodcarving from some of the best teachers in the country.
Folk artists, country musicians, bluegrass bands, concert musicians, marching bands and rock-and-rollers can all be found at area parks, wineries, backyard breweries and city streets.
