Exhibits on display in the next month
Willmar, through March 13, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, Ridgewater College Art Gallery; “Sabbatical Work” by Ridgewater art instructor Marjorie Nilssen; encaustic mono-prints using a “hot-box” system she created during an artists residency in Santa Fe, New Mexico; large prints on paper and mixed-media pieces.
The Barn Theatre
Willmar, through March 17, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and during productions, mezzanine gallery, The Barn Theatre; “Live, Laugh, Love” is the theme of the Willmar Area Arts Council exhibit to coincide with the production of “The Savannah Sipping Society.” The public can vote for their favorite entry. The winning artist receives $50.

Marshall, through Feb. 28, 8 a.m. to noon, 1 to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, Southwest Minnesota Arts Council art gallery; Kylie Rieke of Fairfax received a SMAC Developing Artist grant to work on her pottery skills. All of the artwork in this show has been created on the potters' wheel.
