MORTON — Jackpot Junction has announced the reopening of its casino at 8 a.m. Monday, June 1.

The casino will maintain reduced operating hours and increased safety procedures will be in place, general manager Brian Pendleton said in a news release.

The casino's new hours will be from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday to Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday to Saturday.

Masks and social distancing practices are required, and seating capacity has been reduced by almost half. Bingo and pull tab kiosks will not be accessible, and stylus pens will be provided to reduce contact with the machines.

Food outlets and the bar will have 50% reduced seating capacities with no buffet or self-serve stations.

"Dacotah Ridge Golf Club remains open and Wabasha Creek Restaurant will be open for outdoor seating and curbside service," Pendleton said.

The Lower Sioux Lodge will open with 50% room capacity, but the pool, sauna, exercise room, arcade and business center will be closed. The RV park will be open, though its bathhouse will be closed.
