FARGO - Fargo-Moorhead's celebrity seekers will be getting a big Christmas gift this holiday season, as a pair of stars will be falling into the metro area.
Actor Josh Duhamel and his pop-star wife, Fergie, of the Black Eyed Peas, are spending Christmas in Fargo with Duhamel's father, Larry. Josh was raised in Minot, N.D., but his parents have since divorced and his father relocated to the Fargo area.
There's no official word on when the star couple will be arriving - or if they're already here, but during a recent episode of Ryan Seacrest's radio show, Fergie said she'll "be bundling up and going deep into the heart of Fargo." She added, "I'm going to go make snow angels and a big snoman. And be a big fish out of water."
Fergie, whose real name is Stacey Ferguson, also commented on how there are no paparazzi in Fargo-Moorhead, which implies she could be out and about during her stay. If you're in the mood to spot a celebrity, you might try gyms and fitness clubs. While talking with Seacrest, Fergie said part of agreeing to come to Fargo for the holidays was a deal with Josh that they would work out while on vacation.
