New London-Spicer seniors showcase their art

Senior art students from New London-Spicer High School exhibited their work at the Senior Art Show and Ice Cream Social event that took place Thursday evening at the Greenwater Garage + Gallery in New London.

NEW LONDON — Artwork created by eight New London-Spicer High School seniors was displayed for all to enjoy Thursday evening at the Greenwater Garage + Gallery during the Senior Art Show and Ice Cream Social event. From sculptures to paintings, the exhibit space was filled with a plethora of creative sights.

The student projects were cumulative, showcasing their work from all four years of their high school art career. The eight students artists included Brianna Deming, Grace DeSchepper, Melinda Keller, Marissa Marxhausen, Summer Moore, Tatianna Roley, Madeleine Schiller and Jack Weber.

Pottery bowls that were decorated and glazed by the students were also for sale, along with ice cream, to raise funds for the NLS art department.
