WILLMAR — The Willmar Area Symphonic Orchestra presents its first summer Pops Concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at WEAC in Willmar.

Members that are around this summer decided that they wanted to play just for fun. The concert will start with a “march” and include “76 Trombones,” a tribute to Henry Mancini, and more.

The concert is free and will be performed in the air-conditioned auditorium at the Willmar Education and Arts Center.

The symphony will start fall Tuesday rehearsals after Labor Day to prepare for its October concert.
