Each semester, approximately 400 students at Willmar Senior High School enroll in art class. Two art instructors, Barry Carlson and Laura Welle, work with the students on a variety of art projects. They teach everything from ceramics to self portraits to studying a variety of art techniques.

The works pictured here are currently on display at WEAC, 611 Fifth St. S.W., near downtown Willmar, and are a sampling of the student work that has been completed since September.

The exhibit is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and when WEAC is open for weekend or evening events. The exhibit will be open through the month of January.
