Willmar's Barn Theatre invites you to 'Wait Until Dark'

"Wait Until Dark" will be performed Thursday through Sunday this weekend and next at the Barn Theatre in Willmar. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday with 2 p.m. matinees on Sunday.

WILLMAR — The Barn Theatre presents “Wait Until Dark” tomorrow through Feb. 12. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday with 2 p.m. matinees on Sunday.

Tickets are $25 for adults, and ages 18 and younger will pay $15. The theater box office is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, or you may call 320-235-9500 or go online at www.thebarntheatre.com .

“Wait Until Dark,” written by Frederick Knott, is about a sinister man and two ex-convicts that are about to meet their match.

They have traced the location of a mysterious doll to the Greenwich Village apartment of Sam Hendrix, played by Gavin Johnson and his blind wife, Susy, played by Bailey Stahl.

Unbeknownst to Susy, something is hidden inside the doll and the criminals will stop at nothing to get it. With the help of her young neighbor, Susy pieces the puzzle together and a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues.

Other members of the cast are Reagan Toedter, Malachi Elmhorst, Rodney Schaffran, Gabby Pederson, Eva Toedter and Averi Linn,

The play is directed by Allen Clark and Cole Woltjer.

The stage manager is Chloe Jensen.

The set was designed by Steve Gralish with lighting design by Eric Harp; costumes are by Jan Buzzeo; and Becky Thompson is in charge of props.
