Litchfield Christian Women’s Club

LITCHFIELD – The Litchfield Christian Women’s Club will have “An Array of Art” brunch at 9 a.m. Aug. 9 at First Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Carolyn Cappel of Yankton, South Dakota, will speak on “Artistic Thoughts, Mistaken Identity.” Her ability to blend humor with compassion has captured the innermost feelings of individuals facing life’s (and death’s) daily struggles. Hawk Creek Lutheran

SACRED HEART – An ice cream social will begin with a 4 p.m. program by Building Bridges Choir on Sunday, Aug. 11, at Hawk Creek Lutheran Church, rural Sacred Heart. Barbecues, salads, chips, pie and ice cream and beverages will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Freewill donation.

LITCHFIELD – The annual women’s salad luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Two hotdishes, variety of salads and bars for $8. Everyone welcome.
